TORONTO FOUNDATION FOR STUDENT SUCCESS

Author name

As advocates for children and youth, TFSS provides safe, inclusive programs to help students thrive in underserved communities. Now it was time to improve their internal training model. Enter OWL.

Toronto Foundation for Student Success is an organization that understands the value of programming. That's why they were on the hunt for a way to streamline the delivery and tracking of employee and volunteer training.

How we discovered OWL

Already in the market for a cost-effective e-learning management platform, the HR Manager of TFSS was delighted when she stumbled upon OWL through an email that piqued her interest. Without hesitation, she booked a demo and the rest is history!

How we are using OWL

We’ve been using OWL to deliver and track mandatory and job-specific training. OWL also offers courses in leadership, mental health and DEI, which are instrumental in our employees’ professional development.

Our favourite courses so far are...

  1. People-Focused Leadership Series
  2. Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
  3. Work-Life Balance Series

What we want other charities to know

We used to direct employees to various sources for training and track completion on an Excel spreadsheet. With OWL, we can do all of that on one platform, which is much more effective not to mention a huge time-saver.

Before OWL, we had to direct employees to various training sources and track their progress on Excel. Now it's all done in one platform!
